CONTEST DETAILS & SPECIFICIATIONS
The contest is based on best graphic (logo) representation depicting the natural history and beauty of the Village of French Island.
The review and selection committee will include Village board members and art professionals from the Greater Coulee Region.
Entrants must include their name and contact information (phone number and/o email address) with their design.
Design is to be submitted as a 3-inch size (any shape). Designers should be mindful that the selected artwork (or portions of artwork) will be used in various media and in various sizes.
The logo must include the text “Village of French Island”
Media/tools are at the discretion of the designer: colored crayons, colored pencils, oil paints, etc.
All artistic design elements must be the original work of the submitter. Use of clipart and AI is prohibited. It is the responsibility of the designer that all elements do not conflict with any existing copyrighted works.
Designers may submit more than one design.

All entries received become the property of the Village of French Island.
The selection decision of the Logo Art Contest Committee will be final. The winning entry will be notified on August 17th 2026.
The Village of French Island reserves the right to make adaptations or adjustments to the selected design to meet various media and promotion needs.
The winner will be notified following the design selection, and will receive a $200 cash prize and will be featured at the official unveiling of the design. (Prize money donated by Dan Kapanke & Lee Donahue)
